Interview:Hennywiz: For starters, where are you from and what’s your background?
Cayenne Wesley: I’m originally from Houston TX, but I was raised in Houston and Louisiana; I now reside in Atlanta, GA. My background? Hmmm, I’m black and I’m Proud! #lol… On a more serious note; I’m an African-American/Creole Beauty who had a pretty decent upbringing I must say.
Hennywiz: What or who inspired you to pursue a career in the modeling industry?
Cayenne Wesley: It’s something I’ve always wanted to do.
Hennywiz: You’ve been having a productive year so far; beside your awesome spread in Straight Stuntin Magazine what other publications have you been featured in? Cayenne Wesley: I’m featured in this issue of “ASIS Magazine” (Anniversary Issue) with “Ace Capone” on the Cover and “Drena Da Dream” on the Back Cover…(I blessed you with a few photos from that spread)…you know I always look out on you! *Wink* #lol / I’m also featured in the September issue of _ _ _ magazine~ #lol
Hennywiz: With all the shoots you’ve done so far, which ones have been your most memorable? My very ~First~ shoot.
Hennywiz: A question I tend to ask models/vixens is, in this forever evolving business, new faces emerge by the minute. What separates “Cayenne Wesley” from your peers?
Cayenne Wesley: Well, I’m just me, I just do me; I’m not just a model/video vixen. I’m a mother, actress, friend and provider! Nothing is given to me, I’m a hustler and a go-getter, I’m just —> Self-Made. Last but not least, I’m a very “HUMBLE” person, I don’t let #Fame and #Fortune or dating celebrities go to my head to the point that I think I’m better than anyone else. I communicate with all of my Fans and Supporters regardless!
Hennywiz: Overall, what has been your opinion of the Modeling industry?
Cayenne Wesley: It’s changed so much; it’s not really about modeling anymore, it more about “semi-nude” pics (semi-porn), it’s seems be about who’s more known or popular> in my opinion, basically it’s turned into a popularity contest, and/or who you know.
Hennywiz: What are some of your long term goals as you continue to progress in your career?
Cayenne Wesley: My main goal has always been to become a successful *Actress* and right now, that my main focus! I do commercials, music videos, local comedy series and magazines to stay relevant; with hopes of meeting someone that can help me further my career as an actress. If all else fails, oh well “back to the pole” #lmbo j/k I would go back to the medical field (that’s my #Plan_B it’s also a strong passion of mine as well as acting).
Hennywiz: What other interest do you have besides modeling?
Cayenne Wesley: *ACTING* I Can’t stress it enough I’m addicted to it!!!! It’s my *Passion* I Love to Act~ / I do charity also, and donate my time and advise to that need it most. “I Love helping people” that’s one reason I got in the medical field before I start modeling.
Hennywiz: You’ve done some acting as well; give the readers a rundown of where they might have seen you?
Cayenne Wesley: #lol I should’ve read this question before I answered the first two huh? Anyway, you may have seen me on a commercial that airs on BET; you may have seen me in a few local commercials and comedy series that only airs in the Atlanta area. I’m also in a movie with Pastor Troy called “We Were Homeboyz” that will be released this fall.
Hennywiz: What would be a dream role for you?
Cayenne Wesley: A movie about the South with “REAL” people from the South! Especially if it’s a movie on location in Houston or Louisiana, Ooooh I would so LOVE that! “Tyler Perry” if you happen to (you know) hear about me, and like have something like that in mind? You know you can just —> have your people get with my people… *Smiles* / I got that French-Creole blood running thru my vans, so I have that Cajun “Louisiana” accent down packed; and of course being from “Houston, TX” and now living in Atlanta, GA; I can mimic any accent from any state in the South.
Hennywiz: I’m about to get in your business now, lol! What qualities do you look for when choosing a significant other? Cayenne Wesley: Self-Confidence and Personality
Hennywiz: What advice do you have for someone that would like to approach you in public?
Cayenne Wesley: Don’t “Hiss” at me or “say lil mama me” Aye shorty, shawty etc, because I’ll walk right pass you! & “PLEASE” don’t just assume its “OK” to ask for my number! You’on know me like that (T.I. Tone) #lol you moving a lil too fast “Shawty” #lmbo you’ll know if its appropriate to ask for my number, by our conversation. Ohhhh and my pet-peeve, please don’t ask for my number about biz and when you call you say so what’s up? If that’s how you had to get my number your name gets changed to “Don’t Answer” in my phone~ that’s SO #LAME if you want my number for biz purposes let it be about biz (first of all you need to be asking for my manager’s # if it’s about biz anyway). If you just want my number because you’re interested, then just say that! You’ll get more play that way than being deceitful.
Hennywiz: What are some of the worst pick up lines you ever been hit with?
Cayenne Wesley: I can’t really say; because after the first #Lame remark, everything else just sounds like —> WONK, Wonk, WONK, Wonk WONK!!!! #lol
Hennywiz: What turns you on the most?
Cayenne Wesley: A Great smile, good hygiene and Strong hands.
Hennywiz: What is an ultimate turn off for you?
Cayenne Wesley: A #Arrogant person, A #Liar and an overly #Jealous person.
Hennywiz: What’s the most expensive gift you have bought a significant other?
Cayenne Wesley: An Escalade
Hennywiz: Do you consider yourself a casual romantic or a super freak?
Cayenne Wesley: Well, I do like to be #Romantic… but I can be a be a freak as well #Hehe
Hennywiz: How would you describe your fashion style?
Cayenne Wesley: Sexy, Classy, and Unique
Hennywiz: What genre of music are you into?
Cayenne Wesley: I like Hip Hop, I LOVE “Underground Rap” some Rock, of course Gospel and R&B, I like old school Blues and Soul too. Plain and simple —> “I just LOVE Music!!!!”
Hennywiz: Drink of choice that gets you going?
Cayenne Wesley: Really? #lol 151 Rum & Punch “it’s called a wetness” (I think! #lol)
Hennywiz: What is one thing about yourself that tends to shock people once they get to know you personally?
Cayenne Wesley: I look quiet and sometimes act quiet and shy; but what tends to shock people is when you push that button, because I WILL speak my mind to anyone, regardless of who you are, or what you do.
Hennywiz: What is your guilty pleasure?
Cayenne Wesley: lmbo… I Love to eat #Ice I crunch on it all day!!!! #lol
Hennywiz: Name some things you couldn't live without? Cayenne Wesley: Of course my son, my GOD-Daughter, my BFF, my IPhone, my laptop, my car, or cheese. #lol
Hennywiz: What can we expect from you in the near future?
Cayenne Wesley: Expect to see me in on the “Big Screen” or in a play near you!
Hennywiz: What advice do you have for inspiring models out there trying to break into the industry?
Cayenne Wesley: It’s not what you think it is and it’s not as easy as it look; please, have a “Plan B”
